Colliding egos,
Privileges, priorities,
Who has the upper hand and why?
Power struggles,
Imbalance between two,
Hidden from the naked eye
Unhealthy symbiosis, somehow we missed to notice
The signs scattered around and never believed them, no
Failure was part of the system, built-in from the beginning,
Easy to point at the mistakes, hopeless to mend them now
The trust I built my whole life on was a lie, I don’t know how I got this far…
I’ve wasted away now I’m finally alive, this is the end of who we are
The quakes of defeat are still hitting the ground, confusing what is left as whole
For years we’d been constantly circling around, carried away, out of control
Harm the host/
At any cost!
Copy my abilities,
Compete and take life from me
Use my resources,
No mutual benefit,
How will I survive this tale?
Make me weaker
But I will take you with me
Not again will I fall prey (to you)
Unhealthy symbiosis, somehow we missed to notice
The signs scattered around and never believed them, no
Failure was part of the system, built-in from the beginning,
Easy to point at the mistakes, hopeless to mend them now
The trust I built my whole life on was a lie, I don’t know how I got this far…

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ

Every track stands out and really sticks, and everyone on this album brought their A game. It's definitely not as heavy as previous albums, but that doesn't matter because it's their best release to date.
To me, this feels like Shokran reaching their final form, and it's beautiful.
However, the final boss always has another form after the form you thought was the final form, so I can't wait to see what's next! CatMonarchy
