Let me tell you a story about a boy who thought he’d make a mark
He believes he’ll bring the light although he’s still fighting the dark
So desperate to prove his worth he’d walk to the very end
And from all the chaos waiting for you he would defend
Well, to tell the truth
I’m simply not enough to make this place better
My time is finite, I know you’ll be all right
I will show you how to be strong and how to…
Fight!!!
Believe me, this ride is not as sweet as it may seem
Sometimes it’s fine, but mostly it’s gonna make you scream
A shield, a guard, a helping hand, I’ll be whatever
You need, as long as I am here we’ll always be together
Well, to tell the truth
I’m simply not enough to make this place better
My time is finite, I know you’ll be all right
I will show you how to be strong and how to fight
I wish I could preserve your world as pure as you know it yet
It is beyond my power, it is my biggest regret
Well, to tell the truth
I’m simply not enough to make this place better
My time is finite, I know you’ll be all right
I will show you how to be strong and how to fight
Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
Every track stands out and really sticks, and everyone on this album brought their A game. It's definitely not as heavy as previous albums, but that doesn't matter because it's their best release to date.
To me, this feels like Shokran reaching their final form, and it's beautiful.
However, the final boss always has another form after the form you thought was the final form, so I can't wait to see what's next! CatMonarchy
